Manchester Regional - 20th June

It'd be great to see some of you there.

The elephant in the room of course, is that the Stockton regional is the next day which isn't the best scenario. However, I'm going to be at both, and likely driving from Manchester to Stockton on the Sunday morning.

So if anyone of you southerners fancy making a Thrones weekender out of it, there's some space to crash at mine on the Saturday night, and seats in my car to get to Stockton...

I'd be more than up for it Mach . Do you think it could be possible to consider arriving on Friday evening in Manchester? I feel a bit "rude" asking it like that, but if I could stay at the place of one of the Manchester players it would be great. And I would love going with you tot he Stockton regional as well .

I'm planning on doing the South -> Manchester -> Stockton -> South route too, for sure. Probably driving myself, it's just easier than going from Stockton to Manchester to go back south again!

I'd love to make both the tournaments that weekend. If I could catch a lift with you Wamma and crash somewhere that would be much appreciated.

Current plan then is for my car to take myself (doy), Becky, Vince, Ryan W and Mike C. We need to find a place in either Manchester or Stockton to stay the night, and we're golden. From what I gather it will be easier to stay the night in Manchester (and potentially cheaper), but mean we have to get up annoyingly early two days in a row. If we go to Stockton then Saturday will be a bit of a slog, but we'll get to sleep in for a couple more hours on Sunday. What would people prefer?

Well... truth is you wil get 2 hours less of sleep, and we will al pretend to be awake in the car, while we certainly be resting quite a bit more than you. So I'd say it's your call .

Yeah, as you will be driving, whatever is best for you Wamma - whether you want to drive after a long day of thronesing or go early the next morning. I'm good with either

If it makes any difference to your decision, Wedge and I are likely to be driving Manchester/Stockton on the Sunday morning.

And the Inn of the Machin is currently taking bookings. Bring your own sleeping bags, booze and board games.

Yeah, I reckon so. My housemate is away that weekend, so there should be plenty of room, the lucky ones may even get a bed, inflatable mattress or sofa...

Definitely had more people than that crashing on NYE so we have the capacity.

We have a two-person self-inflating wipe-clean mattress with a snazzy blue carry case *smug* .

Also a dog bed, which works surprisingly well as a napping-spot for a drunk human being, as I'm sure Wamma can attest to.

Should be coming down with a minibus/people carrier full of people from Edinburgh to Manchester then driving to stockton on the Sunday.
